Starting in 1980 as a wholesaler to the local restaurants, Gulf Coast Seafood continues its impeccable reputation of excellence that spans over 20 years.

Our Wholesale Foodservice Division ensures the finest in seafood and seafood related products and guarantees customer satisfaction to hotels, restaurants and institution accounts throughout Central Florida. We pride ourselves on being able to accommodate and customize seafood programs to meet the needs of our clients, no matter how large or small. Through hard work, we have consistently exceeded our client's expectations on quality and service

Our customized programs exist because we realize that every client's needs are different and with our 5 point quality inspection program we can customize and tailor any program to meet your company's specifications.


 

Gulf Coast Seafood's Quality Inspection

  • Our seafood is purchased from boats we have selected over the years that take extra care in the handling of their fish to maintain only  the highest in quality standards such as proper icing, catching methods and time at sea.
     
  •  The fish species are inspected by buyers at the docks when unloaded.
     
  • Once fish is unloaded and brought into our facilities, it is checked for proper temperature controls and graded.
     

  • Our fish is hand cut, never machine cut, and once it comes off the cutting line it is graded once again before being packed.
     

  • Our seafood is shipped and delivered to our local accounts within hours from cutting to insure maximum quality standards.

     

Customized Foodservice Programs
Our wholesale division has many different programs to choose from, and as mentioned earlier, we will customize a program to meet your needs.

Portion Control
We have a portion program that can meet your needs. The most popular portion sizes are 4oz, 6oz, 8oz and 10oz.

Whole Fish Program
Our whole fish program is extensive from small species like Yellowtail, Red Snapper, and Trout to larger species like Tuna and Sword. And many more species are available.

Fillet and Steak Fish Program
Gulf Coast Seafood specializes in groundfish from New England waters such as Haddock, Scrod, Sole, Monkfish, and Pollack. See our list of species for more products at the bottom of this page.

Shellfish Program
Our company has a full line of traditional Shellfish.

Frozen Seafood Program
Gulf Coast Seafood has a full line of frozen seafood, seafood related products and shrimp.
